Welcome To The Possible Life Project!

Every life begins as a possibility.

Before a new path is walked, it is imagined. Before a home is built, a community is formed, a meaningful contribution is made, or a quieter way of living is chosen, there is often a moment when someone allows themselves to wonder:

What if my life could look different?

The Possible Life Project is a growing collection of anonymous dreams, longings, and visions of the lives people hope to create.

It is not a place for perfect plans or carefully defined goals. It is a place for possibility.

Some dreams are expansive. Others are wonderfully ordinary. Some imagine a different career, a home surrounded by trees, or a life spent creating. Others long for slower mornings, deeper friendships, greater peace, or simply the feeling of finally belonging within themselves.

Every vision shared here offers a glimpse into a different landscape of possibility.

A dream that feels ordinary to one person may become a doorway for someone else. Sometimes we don’t need advice or answers. Sometimes we simply need to discover that another way of living exists.

The Possible Life Project is organized into four landscapes:

Beginning — where possibility first whispers.

Living — imagining a life that feels like home.

Creating — the gifts, ideas, and contributions you hope to bring into the world.

Becoming — growing into a life that feels more fully your own.

Whether you spend time wandering through these landscapes or choose to anonymously share one of your own, my hope is the same:

That you leave with a slightly larger sense of what is possible.

If you choose to contribute, your submission may be anonymously published as part of this collection, as well as in future books or other publications created from The Possible Lives Project. By submitting your story, you grant permission for it to be shared anonymously in these formats.

Thank you for being here.

May these landscapes remind you that there are countless ways to build a meaningful life—and that your own path has not yet been fully written.

To submit your dreams please fill out the form below. Choose the category under which you would like for me to post your submission. You are welcome to do one or more submissions as long as they are separated to the correct categories so that I can keep them straight…

Every photograph, story, and reflection begins with a moment of noticing—a quiet walk, an unexpected discovery, a small piece of beauty that asks to be shared. If the work I create brings you a moment of wonder, peace, or connection, and you would like to help me continue creating, you are warmly invited to do so. Your support helps make more time for exploring quiet places, capturing meaningful moments, and creating stories and resources that remind us life is more than something to get through—it is something to experience. Thank you for helping bring a little more wonder and beauty into the world.

Why This Exists

There are many places where we gather to talk about where we’ve been.

We share our struggles, our losses, the experiences that shaped us, and the ways we’ve learned to survive. These stories matter. They help us feel seen, understood, and less alone.

But somewhere along the way, I found myself asking a different question:

Where do we go to talk about where we’re going?

For a long time, I searched for places where I could belong—spaces where people understood what I had lived through. Those conversations helped me in important ways. But eventually I realized I was spending so much time looking back that I had very little space to imagine what lay ahead.

I wasn’t looking to leave the past behind.

I was looking for a place where the future also had a voice.

I wanted conversations about the lives we hope to create. The homes we dream of. The work that feels meaningful. The communities we long to build. The ordinary days we quietly imagine. I wanted to hear how other people pictured a life that felt deeply their own—not because I wanted to copy it, but because every unique vision expands our understanding of what is possible.

That longing became The Possible Lives Project.

A quiet collection of anonymous dreams and possibilities.

Not because every dream will come true exactly as imagined, but because every meaningful life begins with the courage to imagine something that does not yet exist.

The four landscapes you’ll find here—Beginning, Living, Creating, and Becoming—are not meant to be steps to complete. We move through them in different ways, return to them throughout our lives, and often find ourselves standing in more than one at a time.

My hope is simply that as you wander these landscapes, you’ll occasionally find yourself thinking:

“I’ve never considered that kind of life before.”

Or perhaps:

“I didn’t know I was allowed to want that.”

Sometimes another person’s dream doesn’t become our destination.

It simply helps us discover the direction of our own.

Welcome to The Possible Life Project.

May it be a place where possibility quietly grows.
